I'm back again...

Paige is in NYC now and I want to stay in touch with her and hear what's going on, so I'm back. It probably wouldn't hurt to start writing things out again, it always helped me figure things out. Larger entry coming....

I'm back on LJ, if you'd like to get on the friends list again, leave one here and I'll add you. This will stay friends only; I've had too much trouble in the past with public entries. Thanks all...

Well I haven't written in a while, probably because I haven't had much to bitch about. I've usually used this journal as a forum for my own personal venting, but I don't have much to vent about right now. Life's not bad...
The weekend was excellent. Friday night, a big group of us wandered between parties on Tennessee and Kentucky, evading the cops who were busting the parties as always on those streets. That's why I don't want to live on that side of town, too many cops, everything gets busted too fast and parties get too big too fast. Saturday night, geezus what a night. I got a 750 of Parrot Bay and downed it straight in 2 hours. The only chaser I had was one can of Diet Coke at the beginning. I've never been that drunk in my life. I was seeing double, everything was spinning....I ended up just sitting on the stairs of the apartment by the door, everybody that came in the door was like "whoa, dude are you ok???" lol. I remember saying a couple dumb things, running into Ben, among other people. Aimee's ex bf and now best friend was there, hanging out with me for the first time ever, so he probably thinks I'm a jackass now lol. I was so messed up I didn't get to spend the night with her, which had been her plan all week long. :( When Navid finally took us home, it felt like the car was going 150 mph when he was going 20, I was so freaked out. I fell asleep in my bed about 10 seconds after I hit the pillow and woke up feeling a little groggy Saturday. Iain, who was puking the night before as well, and I got pizza and watched NASCAR all afternoon, which was good. My #1 guy, Kenseth, got 3rd and my #2 guy, Jarrett, won the race so it was exciting. Last night, I went over to hang out with Aim about 7:30 and didn't leave until 2:30. We just laid together and talked almost the whole time, it was really really good. We really got into personal, private things and got to know each other a lot better I think. It wasn't just information like "tell me about your family" or whatever, it was really emotional, private things and it was great to talk about. She and I are going to last a long time I think (and hope!!!)
Well this is going to be one busy week. Tonight I have my first Spanish tutoring session (i'm the one getting tutored) so hopefully 324 can stop bending me over. Tomorrow night is Journalism school orientation. Wednesday I've got an EA event as well as tutoring. Thursday is another EA event, and Friday I've got 2 EA events. Somewhere in there I'm gonna do homework, sleep, etc lol.

Well I've got lots to write about but for now I'm just going to put the most important thing. Aimee and I were talking last night and I said to her "I'm not trying to put pressure on you but Aimee, right now, I'm not looking at another girl in the world." And she said immediately that she wasn't looking at any other guys....so we're together officially now :) I'm happy :)

Wow, what a wonderful day yesterday was. Got up at the crack of dawn (6:30) to shower and take Aimee’s V-Day gifts over to her before she woke up. Her roommates forgot to leave the door open for me like they were supposed to so I had to leave it all in the doorway but oh well, it worked out. I got her 6 heart shaped balloons, 3 huge roses, a little dark red teddy bear that smells like roses, a little book called “Puppy Love” filled with pictures of puppies, a copy of “Count of Monte Cristo (she loves the movie, loves reading, and hasn’t read the book), and I made a CD of country songs that the two of us share or like or whatever. She was really happy with the gifts, I think. Her roommates said I bought “really sweet gifts” and she seemed really happy so I guess I did all right.
After I dropped off the gifts, I went to E’s for my standardized meal. They gave me a bowl of Lucky Charms, 2 french toast sticks with 2 things of syrup for whatever reason, 1/3 of a cup of milk, and 1/3 of a cup of orange juice. What kind of whacked out meal is that???? Anyway, went to politics and then to American People for the first of the 3 tests and I’m almost 100% sure I got an A so at least one of my classes is going well. Before I went into American People, I saw Aimee (she has a class in the same room before mine) and she just had this big smile on her face and said “you’re awesome” so I was pretty sure I did well with the gifts at that point. So that made my morning much brighter. When I got back to Templin, I got online and bought tickets for the Tim McGraw concert on April 13th, I can’t wait! Its going to be sweeeeet. We’ve got 7 people going so it’ll be a good time. And Aimee’s as excited as me, which makes it even better. I skipped microecon discussion since we just had a test Thursday and it was raining so I didn’t feel like walking all the way to Summerfield. Sat around and didn’t do much most of the afternoon but by 4, all the roommates were gone so I cleaned up a little and then went to dinner at 5 with Aim. We went back to her place after that and hung out with Emily and Will for a while. I’m glad to see they didn’t break up over such a silly, petty thing; they’re way too good together to break up like that.
Aim and I went back to Templin around 7:30 and never left again. We just hung out, watched movies, cuddled, listened to music, and talked. It was a wonderful night and the first memorable Valentine’s Day of my life, so I was happy with the way it turned out. Oh yeah, and she got me a cool ass coffee table style book of American muscle cars, which was awesome!
We got up around 10 this morning and went to breakfast, then she went to KC and I spent the afternoon on my butt watching racing and basketball. Right before I left to go to Robinson, Aim showed up and surprised me, which was wonderful. It was great to see her again, and little gestures like that make me think she’s really into me, which feels wonderful inside.
And now, I sit here in the Energy Balance Laboratory, spending my Saturday night alone. I get to wake up at 7:15 tomorrow morning and go into the chamber all day. I’ll be doing homework, playing PS2, watching the Daytona 500 (go #17!!!) , and sleeping. * sigh * such a letdown after last night, oh well…..
